More Booth babes Bellow!
Ah, the booth babe. An infamous position in the gaming industry held exclusively for attractive women who wish to be paid to stand around in skimpy outfits and smile suggestively.
In the past, booth babes have had their fair share of run-ins with horny nerds, but companies and models alike continue to trot out these booth babes in hopes of attracting said nerds to their game. And it usually works.
Which is why I guess it makes sense that THQ is hiring their own babes for an upcoming event they’re holding mid-June to promote two of their upcoming games, presumably WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2011and Homefront. They’re specifically asking for 10 strong women and 10 Asian women to promote each game. I’d be surprised if there weren’t scantily-clad women at a wrestling promotion, but given what I know about Homefront, I can’t really imagine why they’d need babes for such an occasion.
If you’re interested, you can go shoot them an email with your information. However, if you apply, you should probably know that such models at such events have a history of being harassed. THQ failed to mention such a thing in the Craigslist listing, but if you don’t care, or are prepared to fend off hordes of testosterone, then by all means, go for it.
