De-Masquerade

One of my favorite patterns to see on various items is the damask pattern. This pattern can add a touch of sophistication to a room. Sometimes I enter a room or see a picture of a room and find myself surprised at how the damask patterned has been used. You can use this pattern in a variety of colors on a huge selection of items to add a bit of your personality to a space.

I LOVE how the damask pattern is used on that bench above. I could see myself wanting to use a bench like this outside of the dining room too.

This piece of furniture is made interesting by that fact that it uses a larger version of the damask pattern. I would like this even better if the colors were reversed.

You can cover an even greater area with this pattern by having a wall or walls painted with this pattern. And you don't have to stick to just neutral colors. I love the boldness of this purple.

This is such a neat idea!

These are some great ideas for color combinations when it comes to the damask pattern.

I really love this pattern and the different ways you can use it in your home. Do you have any damask items on display?
