My three pieces highlight mythological figures representing different deities somehow relating to destruction.
Ix Chel is the Mayan goddess who brings about the destruction of the third creation by causing a great flood.
She is actually one diety who takes shape in three different forms: her other forms are Chak Chel and Young Moon Goddess.
All three pieces are 8.5" round in diameter, and are acrylic on found mahogany wood.
