I will admit that it took me a while to warm up to rompers but now I see them as a fun, easy alternative to sundresses. They can be as casual as shorts and a tee but with a little more interest. Simple to style all you need is a belt, sunglasses, maybe a necklace, and great pair of sandals.



Call me crazy but I think if you found just the right well structured romper in a solid color it could be the the perfect substitute for a cocktail dress.

First it was ombre hair and now it ombre nails are everywhere. Ombre nails were first brought to my attention when I saw that Lauren Conrad had been seen sporting them on several occasions. The key to this look is finding five shades in the same family of colors without the transitions in shades being too drastic.

It is time to tap into your inner child. Friendship bracelets are all the rage right now. I remember as a young girl collecting armfuls of these bracelets and trading them with my friends. One accessory that I am loving more and more is a belt. A good belt can completely transform an outfit into something new. A belt can be used to add a splash of color to an outfit or to break up a solid colored look. Some belts are more detailed and can really show your personality. Whether you choose a wide belt or a skinny belt you can really change your look. I love how you can take a girly dress or top and add a leather belt to toughen up the look. Or how you can take a glittery belt to add some shine to your look.

I love how some of these belts have prints, like flowers on them. Think of the colors you can add to your looks like green, sky blue, and pink just by adding a belt. Part boot, part sandal cuffed sandals are popping up everywhere. For those of us who don't walk around with mile-long legs cuffed sandals (just like ankle boots) can create the illusion of even shorter legs. A solution to this is looking for sandals with thinner cuff that would create less of a visual barrier. Another solution is to pair them with short-shorts or a shorter dress.

Sheer maxi skirts have been around for a while and were made popular by celebrities such as Mary Kate Olsen. While at first I was not a fan of the look it has grown on me recently as I seen it more and more on some of my favorite blogs and now I can officially say that I love this light, flowy, perfect for summer look. This trend is perfect for layering and by carefully choosing the type of skirt and the styling the look it is easy to avoid showing too much skin.
