3B Show at Gallery 1988: Venice

Sorry for the lack of posts!

I have a good explanation, I swear! Last month, I was offered (and accepted!) a most wonderful opportunity up in San Francisco at a company called Crowdstar, where I'm now animating and working on all types of fun facebook and mobile games! Whoo!

Anyway, yes, I have a HUGE backlog of drawings to scan in and post, but in the meantime, here are some pieces for the next show I'm in!

If you're in Los Angeles, or are a fan of any of these movies, this show is a MUST SEE!

Modern Day Fairytale

This is a picture of my dream house. I found this picture about 8 years ago on a real estate website for listings of properties for sale in central Kentucky. Unfortunately besides this picture and a couple others of the property I didn't save any other information on the house.

This house makes me think of a big southern mansion. Maybe right from the pages of Gone with the Wind where Scarlett is attending the barbeque at Tweleve Oaks. It would be difficult to live in a house this beautiful and not feel like a princess.
I feel like living in this house would make almost every day an opportunity to dress up and feel glamourous. I would want to wear something similar to this to host the first party in my dream home.

Once Upon A Time

Everyone remembers in the movie A Little Princess when Sara says, "I am a princess. All girls are. Even if they live in tiny old attics. Even if they dress in rags, even if they aren't pretty, or smart, or young. They're still princesses. All of us. Didn't your father ever tell you that? Didn't he?"

And what Princess doesn't dream of living in an actual castle at least some point in her life. The Castle of the Teutonic Order in Malbork, Poland Nagoya Castle in Japan Chateau de Chambord in France Ashford Castle, Ireland Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany This is my favorite castle. An interesting fact about it is that Sleeping Beauty's Castle at Disneyland is based on it.
