The Face of Fury

Urban Outfitters top
F21 skirt and shoes
Ring was a gift

Sometimes I can mask my emotions so well. In this photoshoot I am so pissed off haha. Why? Well let me tell you! I was running late to Trae's house, and when I got there, we had about 40 or so minutes before the sun fell. So, I rush inside and Trae is playing some computer game which is fine, but for 5 minutes I needed him RIGHT THEN. I begged him to please come outside for a moment to take pictures to which he said, "Okay hold on, this game will only take a few minutes." Nooooooooooooooooooo! Okay. So I wait a few minutes. Then some more minutes. He eventually finishes (25 minutes left), and as soon as he does, he gets a phone call which took an extra huge chunk of time.

By this point, I'm not only anxious, I'm starving! We planned to go out for pizza and I was just about ready to pass out! Finally, with minutes to spare, we leave the house and got a couple shots just before sunset. I'm the type of person where when I have an empty stomach, I am cranky. Like a baby, but instead of crying about it, I sat there in a silent state of rage. I know it's because I'm super impatient...  which I'm trying to work on! Props to Trae though; this boy wonder is always able to make me smile even when I refuse to talk out of sheer anger. Gotta love the kid.

As you can see, we did make it to the restaurant, and all was right with the world again. There was live music and the pizza was pretty tasty, so who am I to complain? That smile in the last photo isn't fake or forced, for I finally got my pizza! Who could be mad with pizza in their belly... No really, WHO??

If you ever read this, Trae, thanks for putting up with my impatience and crabbiness :)

Boyfriend Stealer

Boyfriend's shirt
Target shorts
Charlotte Russe belt
Steve Madden boots
Aldo sunnies
Giveaway prize necklace

Well, more like stolen FROM boyfriend. Trae was about to throw away this shirt he used to wear for work. I couldn't bare to see a perfectly nice shirt simply be tossed in the trash, so I took it! Of course it was too big for me, but after rolling up the sleeves, wrapping (not buttoning) it around my torso, and synching it with a belt, it came out fine! Not too shabby, eh? I kind of want to try it with his other shirts now... hehe. I'm also wearing the necklace I won in Gentri's giveaway! I absolutely love it.

It's hard to tell, but these pictures were taken right after I got a haircut! I got full bangs (instead of my usual side-swept bangs), but here it's hard to tell because the wind kept blowing them to the side. I'll try to get better pictures later! I was going for that Zooey Deschanel look, but it didn't exactly work out that way haha.

Also, I was just recently featured on Broke & Chic which is crazy because I've never been featured in anything! Awesome!

P.S. I noticed I gained a few more followers! Thank you guys so much!

Smitten

From this...

...to this!

I'm stuck at the apartment this weekend writing papers, so to cheer me up Trae made me this from photoshop! It's a collage of all (or most) of the pictures we've taken together throughout our relationship; I wish I could show yall all the detail, but the real size photo is too big to fit on screen! Plus you'd probably get sick of looking at so many pictures of us haha. Still, I took a piece of the photo to give you guys an idea of what I mean :) This was a pleasant surprise! That boy is so sweet.

Can you believe tomorrow is May 1st?! I mean, where did the time go? Oh well, I'm not complaining! May means Summer and Summer means no school!! This is the last weekend of the semester that I'll have to sacrifice to write essays. Hallelujah! Do you guys have any fun Summer plans??

I hope you all are having a better weekend than I am!

Introducing... my love!

I talk a lot about my boyfriend in my blog, so I thought I would dedicate a post to him.
If you hate sappy love stories, don't read this! :P

This is Trae.
We met in 2006 at a wedding, but it was just a quick "hi, nice to meet you" in passing. Sometimes I ask Trae what he would have said if back then I told him "hey, we're going to date someday." He says he would have called me crazy haha!
It wasn't until 3 years later when we met again at a party my friend Rhett was throwing at his house. Rhett is Trae's younger brother who is also the same age as me. We played beer pong, joked around, and just started talking. He was so cute!
I would walk around the party and talk to other friends, and shortly after awhile he would suddenly be there too! I would think, "is this boy following me?" haha. Trae used to swear he wasn't following me but then he finally admitted he would go to wherever I was just so he could talk to me more. I knew it! ;) The picture above is the first picture we ever took together and it was at that same party!

So, now we've been together for over a year, and we couldn't be happier! With past relationships, I would always get bored (or fed up haha) after a year, but with Trae I haven't felt that at all. Not once. We're still learning about eachother and are always looking for new adventures together. He is the most patient, selfless, caring guy I have ever met in my life. He treats me the way every girl deserves to be treated, and I'm so grateful I found him. He's a nerd just like me, and I love the fact that we can be complete goofballs around each other. There is no one else I trust more with my secrets, fears, and desires. Granted, I never thought we would get this far when we first started dating. He was soooo shy and I'm more of an outgoing person, so I never thought we would mesh well. I've never been more pleased to be wrong.

So now you know a little about this wonderful boy and how we came to be.
Hopefully, this is only the beginning :)

Gaga, ooh la la.

SO, the concert.
Basically.... it was AMAZING. It was so much fun, and she completely blew me away. Not only was the show entertaining, but so were the fans! I could not stop looking at all the crazy costumes people had wore. Some you could even tell were handmade! It felt like Halloween all over again haha. Every outfit Lady Gaga has worn in the past was displayed. People were half-naked, guys and girls. There was this one guy with devil horns, no shirt (but two black X's covering his nips), black briefs, black tights, and red stilettos who was LOVING all the attention he was getting; he was cracking me up.

You can tell Lady Gaga really appreciates all of her fans. She was picking up and reading all of the stuff being thrown on stage by her fans. Then, she called a random number from the audience and invited them to join her backstage after the show, I was so jealous.

Trae and I were on the floor, RIGHT next to the stage! When I had asked Trae months ago where we were sitting, he said that we were somewhere below the nosebleed section and I said, "Okay cool, I'm going to bring my binoculars." As we got to the venue, Trae was taking me everywhere looking for our seats and I was getting frustrated because I wanted to sit down haha. Then we go through the general admission entrance and I was like, "where are we going?!" and he said, "surprise!" haha I was so caught off guard! I started squealing from excitement, I couldn't believe we were going to be so close! Trae told me he was surprised I didn't notice on the ticket where it said "General Admission" when I asked to look at them when he had first got them. I felt so dumb :P Oh well!

Lady Gaga has so much talent and I would definitely love to see her show again!
Here are some of my other favorite pictures of the night.

I wish I could have wrote about the concert yesterday, but Thursdays I start school at 8:30 AM and I don't get home until close to 6:00. So right when I get home Trae wanted to go to Pluckers (a wing bar), THEN after that I went to a restaurant called Eddie V's for dessert with my roomie and my future roomie. It was nice; there was a jazz band playing that sounded really good. Then, some old guy kept coming by our table commenting on Gianna's dress and how pretty she was (basically being a creeper). He finally made her get up and dance with him, and she was mortified. It was awesome. I took a picture haha.

A Saturday for studying...

I didn't plan on spending my whole weekend studying, but I guess along with college comes sacrifices, right? I have a Sociology exam Monday, two exams on Tuesday for History and a class called Race, Ethnicity, & the Media, THEN (as if it weren't enough) on Wednesday I have an Italian exam. Torture. On the bright side, last year my boyfriend bought us tickets to see Lady gaga for April 6th which coincidentally falls on the night of my last exam, so that will be a really nice reward for a tough week! I'm excited. Because my boyfriend lives an hour away in San Antonio, he will usually drive up to Austin on the weekend to hang out with me; however, because of all the studying I knew I'd be doing, he had to stay home this time. So, today when I was just about ready to fall asleep from reading my history book, my roommate comes in and said I got a letter! I never get mail, so after singing the "We just got a Letter" song from Blues Clues (weird, I know), I opened it and was surprised to see a just-because card from my boyfriend! It's those little things that make me love that boy more and more each day. After that I was feeling all lovey-dovey so I made this collage hehe.

He even drew a little version of himself to keep me company while I study haha it actually looks just like him! I hope everyone else is having a better weekend than me! Back to the books....
